Some collections begin with a single find. Mine began with the women who shaped me: my mother, grandmothers, aunts, and mother-in-law, each of them a collector in her own right, each with an eye for the beautiful, the curious, and the enduring.
The pieces they gathered and passed down to me are more than objects. They are memories made tangible. That love of finding something extraordinary in unexpected places has been with me since I was a little girl, trailing behind them through antique shops and estate sales.
